Canopy Scan
How It Works
Canopy Scan is an intelligence report accompanied by a recorded or live briefing.
Each leverage open-source data a global and digital footprint, volumes of personnel, and volume of hires to understand the spectrum of risk and opportunities by geographic region. Operations research and agentic AI is used to gather and interpret the intelligence. There are hundreds of agents – not just 1 or 2.
It is prepared for sharing with legal teams, internal HR and IT, or external regulators as needed. Scans are intended to be run on-demand or on a defined schedule as part of a governance program.
Present Use Cases (Employers and RPOs)
For an HR or Recruiting Department, a Canopy Scan will reveal risk and opportunities related to governance and regulation related to:
- The use of artificial intelligence in HR actions
- Wage equity and transparency
- Proper related disclosures for the public, labor regulators, or financial market exchanges.
These are critical parts of the new HR and the changing workforce. The Scan will determine penalty exposures, compliance, and actions to remediate.
For a Recruiting Outsourcing Provider (RPO), a Canopy Scan will reveal where current accounts are vulnerable, where acquisition of service is viable, and where competitors’ accounts are vulnerable, so poaching is viable. The product is exclusive to one provider in a group of seven (7) providers. The current intelligence offers:
- Ongoing analysis on the accounts held by all seven (7) companies
- The vulnerabilities of those accounts to loss and why
- Identification of employers that can receive expanded service or acquired from a competitor based on renewal timing and history
- Worthiness of a Request of Proposal, the approach the Client should take, and if its worthy to submit against
- Sector analysis of employers to approach for services based on current Client roster
- The ability to offer the Canopy Scans to HR or Recruiting Departments to current Client base or as part of a proposed service offering.
Sample Scans
A wage and job post transparency Canopy Scan was done on a real trucking company with over 10,000 employees across 48 states. As appropriate, names and some details are redacted. As expected, each Scan will have slight differences based on regional intelligence and this focuses specifically on a multi-state example.
A RPO Competitive Canopy Scan analysis was done on 12 Recruit Process Outsourcing Providers (RPO) with names of RPOs and specific accounts redacted. The Scan reviews 12 providers, over 70 accounts, and has full transparency on pricing.
