We developed listening tools for applicants and employees. This “active listening” enables clients understand the experiences protected groups have. We compare those experience versus what internal and external data states. A synchronized analysis between structured data and listening loops validates the Audit.
Employers, HR tech companies, and staffing companies want those protected by these regulations to share their experiences. Protected individuals interpret active listening from an Employer, HR technology, or staffing company as influencing their advancement or being subjective.
The Audit uses this “listening loop” to provide anonymity and feedback access to applicants. Aspen analyzes the data as part of the Audit on pay equity, wage transparency and solicitation, use of automation and AI, and finally fairness in assessment.

You want supervisors and hiring team members to share their opinions of the processes, services, and technologies used in employment. Anonymity can be an issue, especially if non-compliance or illegal actions are revealed.
We provide a venue that accepts information related to experiences related to assessment, performance, advancement, succession, wage transparency, wage solicitation, and specific AI/automation usage. Various laws require that protected parties can request information on AI usage, AI bias, wages, wage equity, or data removal when requested. We provide a service to execute all objectively and directly to those parties.
Protected parties can solicit for such information using the link provided. Eligible inquiries will be automatically answered, while employers, HR tech companies, and staffing companies can choose have Aspen answer inquiries that are not subject to regulation. Aspen logs a ticket in a mutually shared system with instructions for action. The logging and completion of these inquiries are aggregated and included in the Audit.

Clients control the use and publication of the Listening Loops. Each can be placed on websites, in chatbots, in email signatures, and sent via deliberate campaigns.
These Listening Loops are made to allow for anonymity on purpose. Employers, HR Tech providers, and Staffing companies will not have IP address information or personally identifiable information provided. Aspen acts as impartial broker.
With enough loops, aggregate data is included in the Audit and is cross validated any internal data. The total count of loops is always included in the Audit.
For employers, reported violations of non-compliance can be captured and remediated e.g. if an applicant perceived that AI is created bias against them, we will open a ticket for investigation and remediation.
